Hydraulic Over Mechanical Disc Drive The Best Of Both Worlds

All SpreadPoint belt spreaders feature the SPA hydraulically powered disc unit. This unique system uses one large heavy duty hydraulic motor to drive a syncronised gearbox.  The benefits of this are:
  • Each disc can overlap the other giving the largest effective diameter on the market
  • Each disc is supported underneath by the gearbox a very robust solution
  • No PTO shafts and precise control over disc speed independant to tractor engine rpm
